Three years after the entry into force of the Kyoto Protocol which provides for the reduction of CO2 production, the municipal administration of Colorno wanted to acquire an important tool to capture the state of fact energy consumption, the ambitious attempt to reduce the overall footprint of the machine hall and the energy bill.
A year of work carried out by the Technological Center for Energy and the staff led by Engineer Maurice Faure of Trent, which photographs the actual status of energy consumption of the main municipal public buildings (town hall, schools, sports hall, swimming) and public lighting, while outlining a plan for infrastructure investments to reduce consumption and introduce energy production from renewable sources.
