The tradition of Saint Lucia in Sweden

Lucia in Sweden is much revered by both the Catholic Church, which the Lutheran.

Children prepare biscuits and sweets since December 12. On the morning of 13, the eldest daughter of the family gets up before dawn and dresses in a long white robe tied at the waist by a red sash, the head is adorned with a crown of leaves and seven candles in the dark to see clearly useful .
